To increase my chances of obtaining tickets I would hope that the republicans and non royalty supporters among you will not be applying.

No Sealate. I shall have my nibbles and drinks in front of me and some of my friends will join me and then we shall watch it in comfort in front of the television. I shall probably cook a light lunch so we don't miss anything and have a thoroughly lovely day.

There should be plenty of tickets then as most people will be concerned with more important matters in their lives.
I bet it will be many times oversubscribed (probably not the right word for a ballot for tickets)
Don't you think it will bring a vast amount of money to our Country CS which would be a very good thing in these times of hardship.
Shows how out of touch I am, I didn't even know there was a Diamond Jubilee concert happening. Your tickets are safe from me Sealate, I won't be applying for any - but I hope you have a wonderful time if you do get to attend. Good luck.

Well, you can have the one this Republican's not buying, Sealate, I'm sticking with 'Her Madgesty the Queen of Pop', going with friends to see the Madonna concert in Hyde Park... :-)
I've applied for free tickets. Think it would be a really fun day out!
