Are You Going To Invest In Facebook Flotation This Week?

by , 3 months ago

Rumour has it that Facebook will launch an IPO (Initial Public Offering)in Wall Street in a matter of days. Sounds like a certain profit making venture if you ask me.

No don't have any intention of investing anywhere at the moment.

Not a chance!

It's massively over valued and its controlling approach to the personal data that's on the site are gaining it more enemies with every 'enhancement'. I can't see it leaping on the first day so going stag won't work and its long term prospects aren't good.

Interesting comments but I would be mightily surprised if they do not rocket upwards within minutes of trading.

by creativesaver, 3 months ago

Hmm. I think they're overpriced at the moment. I guess it depends on the launch price compared to the valuations I read a few months back.

Me neither CS, no spare funds here only the odd £1 for a small bag of Toffee Bon Bons...

In a word, 'No'.

by Sabre, 3 months ago

Yep!

I'd sooner stand in my garden and set fire to my cash! Each to their own. :-)

LOL, Sis!

I've got a better idea - spend it on gin and we'll have a great party before the apocalyse!

by Feline123, 3 months ago

I'm in !

by LILLIE, 3 months ago

Thought you might be, Lillie - I've already written your invitation!

by Feline123, 3 months ago

How kind, I daresay I'll be the first one there, wouldn't do to waste valuable drinking time...

by LILLIE, 3 months ago

Count me in too! :-)

by fruitcake, 3 months ago

Does it have to be gin???? Can't stand the stuff!

by Jazzj, 3 months ago

Can I come to the party if I bring my husband's rum bottle and the green ginger wine?

by Sabre, 3 months ago

Depends if its empty or not...

by Jazzj, 3 months ago

Full to the brim Jazzy and I can bring two bottles if you like.

by Sabre, 3 months ago

Sounds like this is going to be a good do.

By the end of it we won't care how, who or what those Zombies do to us.

BTW what is your tipple Jazzj?

by LILLIE, 3 months ago

Set fire to your cash?

How very KLF.

by G-Man, 3 months ago

Lillie, I'm rather embarrassed to admit I'm not really sure what my tipple is, I can't remember the last time I had an alcoholic drink. Need to start living again!

And don't mention Zombies, Shaun of the Dead gave me nightmares..its that bit in the cellar when the zombies are breaking in after them........

by Jazzj, 3 months ago

Don't be embarrassed, Jazzj, a glass of wine (or two!) won't do you any harm.

Ah, Shaun of the Dead...I hate zombie films, I just can't take zombies seriously, they make me laugh, but at least Shaun of the Dead was meant to be funny! :-)

My teenage son thought it hilarious fruity, I'm a wimp :)

by Jazzj, 3 months ago

Now, listen to me, Jazz! I've told you before that you're not a wimp - you're a member of the Sisterhood!!!!

by Feline123, 3 months ago

Stop putting yourself down Jazzj. We'll have a great time.

by Sabre, 3 months ago

Cheers girls, could do with something to cheer me up!
