Bought The Mirror and couldn't find voucher. Went onto Mirror website and found it was England and Wales only - not Scotland :-(
Interesting, but I wonder why ? So many offers these days seem to have exclusions, T&Cs, etc.
Hi again Happyfeet ... I managed to source an email address for Aldi via their press office and asked this very question for you .... I was advised that in Scotland the £5 voucher was in fact in the Daily Record that was redeemable in Scottish Aldi stores ..... now we know!
Thanks for the comments Snoopy48 and Parchester. It would have been helpful if they had specified 'England & Wales only' when it was advertised but I suppose they were counting on the fact that Scottish people might buy their paper in anticipation - not realising there was no voucher!
When Scotland wins their independence be prepared for more of the same!!
Perhaps the Mirror is beginning to align themselves with the divide already and where they feel the lions share of their readership is based.
I have seen similar offers before that are area specific or even shop specific and a number of those shops aren't in any high streets in the south-east.
Complain loudly!
Welcome to the site.
Yes I do and shop there quite reqularly - but the voucher wasn't in the paper!
I think I would still debate the issue with the store manager and ask for some sound reasoning behind the issue. He may give you a complimentary discount!
Hi Happyfeet and welcome to the forum.
So much for the 'United Kingdom' eh?
If I were you, I would be taking the voucher into your local Aldi and challenge the situation as I think that is grossly unfair. I assume that you have a local Aldi?
