Well its final here - hackers are now employing armies of people in the thirld world to perform cracking , denial of service etc and they are actually renting these armies of innocent people (mainly India and Pakistan) to crack systems.
In particular the CAPTCHA system which was previously thought to be non-crackable.
Interesting if you are into technology or just want to keep one step ahead of the fiddlers and diddlers out there.
Here is an interesting read!

I suspect that with so many UK business having shifted their call centres and technical support to 'third' world countries, the breach of security data and information is made all the easier.
Offering some people who earn a very basic wage a few more rupee to divulge and betray confidential and sensitive information is a hackers dream.
It just goes to show that anything designed to protect you can also turn you into a victim. I think there are three kinds of people in this life ... the dedicated and hard working .... those that work in a dedicated manner to screw others with a smile and finally those that will screw society from the computer terminal. That is the way that life is ....
Out od interest OD, do you know exactly how the new Secure Key from HSBC works to allow secure access into personal and business bank accounts?
Nothing new its probably just two factor authentication.
Just means it relies on more than one method to prove your identity - the best in my opinion is biometric or the readers some banks send out to you to enter your pincode into which generates a one time secret key for you to enter on the website.
Downside is cost and inconvenience,.
Sadly inconvenience seems to override security these days.
Excellent. I've been looking for a new work-from-home opportunity :)
I'd be no good at it, I sometimes have to have 4 or 5 goes at the damn things...must be my non-human genes! ;-)
Thanks for the information Omendata. I have often wondered why I was filling it in when doing competitions etc. Like fruity I have to have a few goes sometimes and often click for another word etc.
