If you do, you will enjoy this...
If was early sunday morning I can sympathise with the croc.............
Elvis the Croc had been thinking of the 'Green Green Grass of his home' when he thought he'd 'Way Down' the offending piece of kit, resulting in a 'Whole Lotta Shaking Going On' and the mower ending up 'All Shook Up' ....
Oh I hate to admit it, but on first sight I thought this question was taking us up the 'landing strip' scenario!
What a mind you have Snoops. You will note that you are the only one to have mentioned this subject again so this proves, beyond doubt, that it's you who has the sewer mind. Never mind you have only three day's left to be naughty.
Oh Sabre, you are soooo complimentary! But if you remember a previous posting, it was the girls who had a field day on the subject and I had never heard the term 'landing strip' before ... at least in that context. I am confident that 2012 will bring a whole host of new revelations!
Oh, and as for the perceived naughtiness here, my connotation with 'mowing the lawn' and 'landing strip' was as a result of a local 'grass landing strip' flying club who are looking to build a tarmac runway due to the high cost and inadequacy of the grass one. That can indeed be a big lawn to mow to enable you to navigate down safely.
By heck, as my late Mum used to say Snoopy, you've always got an answer to give back. I was always in trouble for answering back when I was younger and still find it hard to keep my teeth on my tongue nowadays. I remember when I was about five standing in the corner at school for talking when I should have been listening and unfortunately it's continued all through my life. My school report always said "if she did more and talked less she'd do very well".
Well, if he's attacking a lawnmower, he probably realises he's living in Grazeland.
It's scary but funny too. I read that the croc is a pretty nasty character and ate his first two mates, but we all know people like that don't we?
Think I'd prefer a sheep or goat for eco friendly grass maintenance and free manure and either wool or milk :)

LOL, Jazzj...brilliant!! :-)
I speak from experience! Now its farmers making a noise but at least its not the horrid high pitched whine of a flymo!
Oh, I don't mind farm noises! Some of my neighbours complain about the local lads racing their off-road motorbikes in a nearby field on a Sunday morning, but I don't mind that either. Anything's better than hours of lawnmowing! :-)
Don't you find some people mow and mow and mow continually over the same tiny piece of grass until there doesn't seem to be much left. Why is it the smaller the patch of grass the noisier the mower seems to be. Will someone please invent a lawn mower that doesn't make so much noise. Yes Sunday does seem to be "mowing" day. Thank Goodness ours takes five minutes and that's long enough.
I quite like farm noise fruitcake, find it quite reassuring to hear others working when I'm having a few minutes peace and quiet!
