These razors can sell up to £15 - i got some free through a freebies testing site and i must admit they are terrible - vibrating blade wqith 5 blades type glad i never paid for them.
I notice lidl are selling the exact same razors for £2.99.
Wilkinson sword , Gillette are all a ripoff in my opinion.
And they even had the audacity to put those electronic tags to stop people stealing them - if they knew that lidl el cheapos were just as good they wouldnt need to steal em!!!
lol
mad mad world so it is
What next 10 blade razor with built in lawnmower!!
A total rip off. I recall reading that it costs on average 5p to produce the blades and they sell them for £10.00 a packet of 4.
I didn't know about LIDL's version, I might have to look into this. As finances get tighter and tighter then cheaper alternatives must be sought.
Thanks, I didn't know about lidl, my son always lets his beard grow over the holidays and shaves it off when its time to go back to school. I'll get him some - his electric shaver doesn't seem to cope well if hair is long
You could always grow a Zombie Apocalyse beard, Omen!
I did wonder myself how far the number of blades thing was going to go - where will it end?
My razor blades are ridiculously expensive. I use Gillette Embrace with 5 blades - ladies do you have a cheaper alternative that is just as good?
This is the best razor I have ever had and I am so happy it doesn't vibrate. I find the vibrating razors rubbish and too expensive!
I can thoroughly recommend the lidl el cheapo two blade coloured handle ones - i think they come with 16 refills for about £3 and the quad triple blade expensivo one with 4 extra refills at £2.99,
Personally the 16 blade pack with free razor is great quality and lasts for ages on the one blade - havent tried the quad blade one as i dont think it makes much difference - a couple more swipes of the old stubble and it does much the same job.
Triple blade lubrastrip with vibrating head is all the rage - heaven knows why as it doesnt shave that well.
I wonder what gimmick they will add next to fleece all the sheep.
Meh Meh
(Poor attempt at a sheepy sound!!!)
Now most people would've said baa baa, trust you to be different lol
Lol, I have a very good Bosch strimmer Omen, I may need a little practice but I guarantee your stubble will disappear......
I used to think they were a con, but the latest ones from Gilette are actually really good. I shave my face in all directions to get a smooth finish, and as a result used to get the occasional ingrown hair until I swapped over. They also last significantly longer than any other blades I've tried.
Then again, whether they're worth a couple of quid a blade is another matter...
I used to dread the words "I need some razors" from o/h when I was writing out the shopping list. Those four words immediately added £15 to the bill. To make it worse he would then complain about how he only got one decent shave from the flippin' things and would rant about the price, the con, the razor company etc etc. Finally a decision was made to buy a decent electric razor and it's been about 3 months since 'the change' ... he's very happy with it as long as he has at least a quick shave every day - though says it's not great for longer stubble. I am delighted that the shopping bills and complaining have reduced considerably!!
