I've always been concerned as to what is sprayed on our produce.
I do make sure everything gets a good rinse in clean water and sometimes I'll go as far as to scrape off and peel certain rinds.
Organic food I've often thought as an overpriced commodity and very rarely buy it.
Sadly though just rinsing the fruit and veg alone doesn't wash off all the bad bacteria but it does lessen certain types.

When it comes to pesticides I don't think we can be too careful, what do you think?
I always wash everything I buy Lillie as reading articles in the paper you
realise there is a lot of pesticides left on the skins and whilst you think you are eating healthily you can't be if the food is being sprayed. I always peel carrots, potatoes and all root vegetables and rinse everything else. It is an interesting subject and one which we should be aware of.
Always, Lillie.
Not too worried about bacteria if it's somehting that's going to be cooked, but I want to wash off the chemicals.
And what about the fact they might have been crapped on by animals, insects, or birds?!!!

Thanks Sabre, these pesticides are increasingly worrying.
