All the plant lovers

I bought a lovely white and crimson orchid last year and it flowered nicely then looked as if it was dead for months but in the last few weeks its blossomed and this morning I counted 17 flowers and two buds on it has anyone else got a lovely orchid?

I was given one for my 60th birthday. It has flowered almost continuously since.
They are a beautiful plant and I love all the difference types and colours. Hope you are enjoying yours andrea.
Well I know absolutely nothing about plants but I have two on my kitchen window that have been there since my wife passed away in December 2008. They seem to have absolutely thrived and all I have done is to water them occasionally and talk to them.
Does anyone believe that plants respond to human affection and contact?
Well mine do Snoopy and you told me months ago that mine must be responding to human affection and contact. I love my plants but just like a few round the house. I bought two large ones a few month's ago and they have just been repotted into two fabulous ceramic planters I found whilst on holiday. I regularly feed them and dust their leaves and really look after them. Same with the orchids.

Wow, I've never been much good with houseplants, but I do fare a lot better in the allotment area!
