New Ebay prices

by , 10 months ago

Why is it everything is going up in price
Why cant the companies making a fortune start to make life easier for us.

The price rises for sellers on Ebay are an absolute disgrace so much so I have decided to stop using them and use Amazon instead.

Amazon will actually work out cheaper now.

I only list on 'Free listing' days Omen, because as you say their costs like everywhere else are soaring.

I haven't actually looked into Amazon yet.

Oh very good, Omen and Parchester.
I think it's only going to get worse as Fruity pointed out last week if and when they start taxing the more abundant sellers, and rightly so as most of us agreed.

Hi Lillie. Amazon is great I buy all my DVDs, CDs, paper back books (some secondhand) but you have to be careful with these. I also buy special hard back books if they are for presents. I have bought jewellery, A blue Ray machine, Docking system and numerous other things. Really great service you won't be disappointed. - Sabre

After hearing horror stories i would never buy a used book - paper is the easiest way for hand /skin infections & diseases too spread - You never know who has been touching the book before you - yuck....

Dermatologist told me that and ever since I've been very wary of public libraries.

And after George Michael I am also a bit wary of public toilets!!!

Ooh now Omen, with that thought you've made me want to have another shower, scratch, scratch, ugh!

I buy lots of items from Amazon and their delivery is marvellous. Any problems which are minimal are dealt with immediately. - Sabre

I wanted to sell clothes on Amazon and was told the charge was £25 a month to sell clothes and various other things. That is ridiculous! I know you can sell other items for free. I went to Preloved instead - free to sell everything, but I'm sure it is not as popular as Amazon or Ebay so will probably take me a lot longer to sell things.

I sell some things on ebay but nothing much. The charges are igh, especially as you have to pay ebay and paypal fees.

I've also been trying to sell on gumtree - also free and I believe quite popular so I am hoping to have better luck with this one.

Yes Sabre - I saw gumtree on tv as well although I forgot about it until you said - proof that advertising works (at least on me!)
