if you're interested in unsecured personal loans", then it's well worth doing some extensive research before you select a provider.
You may need the cash quickly, but loan sharks and unregulated lenders should be avoided.
Thank you PTP for the link and reminder re loan sharks.
Hi, Pounds to Pocket, and welcome to the forum.
That's a timely reminder as people in financial difficulty might well make the wrong decisions as they are under pressure.
Thank you!
Hi Pounds to Pocket, and welcome.
Good advice! Thank you.
If you saw the recent report on Provident Credit, the directors have awarded themselves a gold plated bonus on the back of the misery of their millions of unsecured borrowers who never achieve a decent borrowing rate below 100%+ per annum. Even their agents are being 'fined' for letting their customers get into arrears.
I once dealt with a man who had a wife and three kids, waqs earning £185 a week take home, was due to be evicted from his council home for rent arrears and faced prison for heavy council tax arrears. Yet he still felt it important to pay the Provident lady £95 a week at the front door. Needless to say, he received urgent debt prioritisation advice.
So the sharks may sometimes not always be clad in the clothes of trading responsibility. But agreed, there are worse, far worse. What about the eruption of 'Payday Loans'? How on earth can people survive such a massive invasion of their pay packet from one month to another, possibly without end it seems?
Money can indeed sometimes be such an evil thing!
can i have a loan through my post office? is thrre no one that can answer this question??
Have supplied an answer above, miche71.
The best way to get an answer to any question you have is to ask your question in the 'Questions' section. Just go the 'Questions' section and click on the yellow link that says 'Ask a question'. Hope that's of some help.
