Juat read a newspaper report of a divorce hearing at a local county court ...... how do you view this judge's award?

After deliberating on the fiscal and property reports, the judge turned to the husband and said .."Mr Jones, I have decided to award your wife £290 a week" .....
To which the man replied ... "Very generous m'lord ... and I'll try and chuck her a few quid myself from time to time ....."

I am not sure whether this would be generous or not. I could personally live off of £290 per week as this would be in addition to my income but it depends what circumstances the woman was left in. What are your views?

Actually Lucy .... and this is just an attempt to raise a little bit of humour now and again on this site ( regulars will know only too well ), this was actually a joke! OH my Lillie ... that stinks! I expect the judge ordered the skunk to go sit in a pew! Anyway, the skunk couldn't phone home as his phone was out of odour!
And I thought my joke was bad and couldn't get any worse...Phewie...
