That is impossible to answer, sunflower! :-) It very much depends on where you want to live. House prices vary wildly depending on which part of the country you are in, or want to be in. Even within an area, there are localities that are much more expensive than others. I would suggest you have a look at the range of houses that are for sale in the locality you want to live in by checking Estate Agents and local papers. That should give you a good idea of what a house fitting your description is likely to cost.

I would suggest that you first decide where you want to live and then see what your budget will buy in that area. If your ideal location proves too expensive you can then decide to compromise either by buying a smaller house, or settling for a smaller garden, or by moving outwards from your ideal location until you find that the prices match your requirements. There are houses like you describe for that price, but there is little point in knowing about a property for sale in 'Huddersfield' (for example) when you might not want to move away from London, or Birmingham etc.
