Are they all the same or do they differ in some way? The ads I've seen promote a free credit report, but you have to give your credit card details. Has anyone used any of these services, and if so did you cancel without any hassle?
I have used experian they are very good you can get a free online trial but be aware you have to pay a monthly fee unless you cancell before the trial you can get it in the post also i paid £2.00 for mine
I used Experian a couple of years ago and had no problem cancelling the trial. Just make sure you make a note on your calender/diary to cancel it. I believe they all have access to the same information and you only give your card details so that if you (foolishly) forget to cancel they will start debiting your account on a monthly basis. Think it is around £7 per month if you don't cancel.
Experian (and possibly others) now do a one off statutory credit report for £2.00.
